Hi all....
Quick question for you, what are your thoughts on the above?
I am looking for an alternate way to operate a bathroom extractor fan (don't want it on with the lights and don't want extra pull cords etc) - I propose to fit an inline fan in the loft, switched with a microwave sensor...
Hi all,
I need to change my extractor fan which is in Zone 1, I have found a extractor fan as below for Zone 1 that does not need a separate transformer, as long as a RCD is present. Will the current RCD's be sufficient? I know the RCD is working, as I connected the wires wrongly when testing...
Hello all, I'm new to the forum and I was hoping to get a bit of advice please:D
I'm a plumber and I've put a new fan in my bathroom. The old one was ineffective and didn't clear the steam very well. What I'd like to achieve is to be able to run a shower without the walls and mirror steaming...

Do I need an...

Thick (10mm i think) cable coming from CU - use to feed a shower, which is no longer there
Connect 10mm to 2mm in a junction box so easier to work with
Change MCB to 5/6 amp
Place 3 amp fuse...
Anyone know if you can get a 6 inch to 4 inch vent adaptor? I came across this beauty the other day.. it's a work of art!
Amazing what you can do with a roll or two of insulation tape
I am in the process of fitting an in-line extractor fan (ACM125T) that requires a 3A fuse, for a utility room. Vent-Axia have advised That I do need a fused spur, from either the lighting circuit or the ring main circuit (as well as a fan isolator switch).
They also said "the switched live does...
Im looking for a way to vent a bathroom fan outside. The bathroom is downstairs in a flat and the only way I can route the ducting would be along with the joists, up in the corner of the room with the soil pipe and into the loft and then out through the soffit.
Is this okay to do? I would be...

Had a customer ask me to look at why their fan had stopped working. It...
