I've recently fitted 2no 12v led small strip lights to the back of my van for extra light when its dark.
I wired them into my exiting internal light so they come on when i open the door and off when i close...
I have a problem with the lights though as when they go off they constantly...
So my mum is currently giving the old man gyp about the extractor fan in their en suite (WC and sink) 4" manrose or something currently (tbh its average noise at most...)
She wants something quieter (and the old man wants something non wallet breaking..)

Hi. I've fitted new light fittings but I can't work out why my 2 way dimmer switche is controlling both lights on only 1 working button. I'm trying all sorts but I control both with 1 switch and the does not work. Help

Just a quick question, just done an eicr in a cafe and office and they have surface mounted modular fluorescent fittings in the cafe area.
Non of the louvres have an earth fly lead connected to them, so just getting opinions from you lot if its worthy of a C3 or am i being too picky?

I've just removed all the upstairs sockets ( mk plastic type ) and replaced them with lap brushed stainless sockets. I have earthed them and also earthed them to the back box I've also checked all wires are tight and good but the mcb keeps tripping out? It has only started doing this...

Last week I installed what was supposed to be a reasonably quiet 6inch wall fan in a kitchen.
Turns out it wasn't as quiet as I anticipated.
Anybody know of a quiet one? Must be a 6inch wall mounted one
