    rcd for fixed outside equipment

    Do fixed outside devices such as floodlights (high up and out of reach) need RCD protection? Assuming cables are surface mounted (no cables buried in plaster,etc). Are there any other conditions, such as: - only one light per unprotected MCB, or multiples allowed? - any other fused switch...

    fixed items in bath rm

    if a fixed item is fixed out of zone 2 as i read it there is no need to have any special ip rating as there is no reg concerning out of zone2 obviously any leed should be short enougth that it is not of any danger rcd of course
