    rcbo wont function

    Hi there, installed a 30mA RCBO on a domestic lighting circuit yesterday. RCD tested circuit on x1 and it wouldnt trip, got >310mS as a reading. Tried it on x5 and it tripped fine (8.5mS). Earth loop reading was 0.81 ohms. Also test button on rcbo worked fine. Any thoughts ???
