Just picked up a timed fan and 3 pole switch. Fan is 4" 20 watt. I was going to run 3 core and earth from 3 plate light via 3 pole switch and to fan as per normal.
Just read manufacturers instructions and it says must be a double pole fused (3 amp) spur. Can't see the logic to that.

Just wondering if anybody could share their thoughts on a little job I'm doing, running a single socket to supply a wall mounted TV.
The upstairs ring is running off a 32A mcb, however every socket in the room requiring the TV is a spur it appears (each having only 1 cable running...
just wondering how i would certify this type of installation, would i take the highest resistance value of r1+r2 of the lighting circuit and use this to add to ze? would i also have seperate values for the two circuits recorded on the EIC. any help eould be very welcome:confused:

Working on a ground floor flat which has a seperate bathroom other side of corridor and approx 10 meters away with concrete floors and tank with imersion heater in cupboard on first floor.
