I am having a new 'Outbuilding' for storage which will be attached to the side of the house, replacing an existing 'Lean-To' and I need to decide on MDPE pipe for cables before the concrete is poured
It will be insulated Timber frame on a...
Been asked to look at outdoor socket for spa. A brief perusal of M.I. recommends the installation of equipotential bonding in 2.5mm² solid copper. Now apart from the idea of non flexible cable, what purpose may it truly serve. It is supplied with a cable that has a 10ma trip in it. However we...
I'm hoping this will be an easy one!
Ive just installed some fence lights and wired them using 3 core 2.5mm cable (overkill I know but I had a spare roll) to a choc block inside a junction box.
I also have some small LED deck lights that run via an LED driver and to a plug, however I have...
Hi all. I'm looking to put some of them golfball style string lights around my patio area. Is there any way of connecting them to my soffit lights. All the lights I can see are plug in ones. Thanks
I currently have four 42W Outdoor Spotlights in my garden
I have used this - HALOLITE LOW VOLTAGE ELECTRONIC TRANSFORMER 20-60VA to lower the voltage, this is in a box mounted to an outside wall.
For some reason the lights will not stay on for longer than 5-10 mins, after which they all start...
Hey I'm looking to install some garden lighting, has Anybody installed one of these before, only 13a total current so looking to possibly install a fused spur off the ring circuit and then install this outside as it's ip66?
Pulled up old garden spike light to reveal what you see in the picture (the light was made in Italy - ERAL was printed on the inside).
Originally I thought the part remaining in the ground was the bottom of the spike, but now think it might be a conduit for the wire inside.
My plan is to fit...
