    Olives for MICC glands

    Is it possible to buy just the olives used in MICC glands? Had to cut back some pyro this week to remake the termination, was unable to salvage/reuse the olive, and ended up having to buy a whole new gland. I know that glands are not terribly expensive, but all I needed was a new olive (and pot).

    I noticed an external contractor installing some SY in our factory the other day, and he wasnt using the traditional SY glands but what seemed to be a stuffing gland with leafsprings that press against the Braiding...     Cable glands for thick metal sheet

    Hi, Just wondering if anyone knows of a gland for protecting a cable through 6-8mm thick metal? I could drill and tap ordinary glands but I have loads to do and looking for easier option. I am considering using bushings but would prefer thight fitting gland Cheers

    Extending existing swa garden light circuit and adding fittings

    A customer has 2 lights on a 30m circuit in 1.5mm swa which is buried half way round the perimeter of the garden and the lights are spurred off it at the end via Y boxes, they want another 10 lights added. I would normally use Wiska boxes & earth clamps but they want it as discrete as possible...

    If im using steel wired armor cable BS5467, am i required to terminate it with a brass cable gland? Or land I terminate its armor with a lug on both the load side and the line side?
