I'm poised to spend £11,500 on a 4kW installation. Here in NI, we still have top-end ROCs and the installer ran some figures for us. He projects an annual return from the installation of around £2,000.
We even have a loan option which means we'd only earn around £1,000 for the first 5 years...
Hi Guys,
I have been testing for about a year and have come across my first tt system yesterday.
I disconnected the earth and tested for Ze and got 8.67 ohms which I believe to be a great reading as osg allows up to 200 ohms. I couldn't do a Ra reading as the rod is under the house and...
Just had a call off a contractor for my local council offering me work for 5 years (domestic rewires)
So I bit his hand off!! Absolutely chuffed to bits. My dad is an inspector for the council and he had a quiet word in his ear and told him everything that I'd done in the past and he was quite...

I mean something middle of the road that is half decent with no comebacks ie breaking after a week.
Sort of new to buying LED lamps as most customers are not happy to pay the prices for this...
Don't often come on here and never really post but find it a great resource. When at college I had all the design calcs and the adiabatic fluently in my head an ended up with a distinction, but a few years down the line and went to do some today and couldn't even think where to start! Ended up...
I fancy a new phone, my iPhone 3GS is brilliant but not really great for being in a dusty / dirty environment. Just seen these ( Samsung S5690 Galaxy Extreme ) and wondered if anyone had one? Also, any other suitable recommendations I could consider? Looking for durability, Internet access, and...
Thought I'd pass this one on to all those who run out of room on the back of the smoke packet or have given up and never have a pen and paper handy. iPhone or iPad it is called Myscript calculator and has handwriting recognition and recognises pi sign for those cable calcs - Enjoy

in 2012 Fluke were running a special offer with their flagship Fluke 1654B Tester, the limited edition kit included downloading software, socket test probes and an earth spike kit. The offer ran until early summer and was a great success, due to the great value for money.

Thanks in advance

I have downloaded the trial version and it all seems very easy to do...
Some days are just great. Picked up a large domestic rewire and a new build today. Both without trying and neither without having to quote. Customers just wanted me to do the work. Happy days :D
