Anyway, have installed GU10 downlights in the kitchen x6 and I've wired them to the old existing flourescent tube connection which are colured brown blue and all wired in tandem including the earth...
anyone used these
before? rather get opinions of them before i shell out nearly 20 quid a piece on a lamp the customers not happy with :D and especially when they want 30 of them it would be a fairly expensive let down
Evening all.... does anyone know where if possible I can get hold of a GU10 lamp holder that has slightly longer tails then standard size... 200mm long would do it:) ?

Have a customer with one particular downlight with a constantly popping light. According to her she's replaced it once a week over the last few weeks. She says she hasn't touched the lamp with her fingers when replacing it. Anyone got any other ideas why this would be happening? Cheers.
Im looking getting GU10 led lamps in place of normal GU10 lamps can you please reccomend me a good type as there is some right rubbish out there.

i am looking to change some bulbs over to low energy at the moment they are mr16 i was going to use the same fittings but do away with the transformers and buy the gu10 sockets do the low energy run any cooler than the halogen ? btw there are 8x50w on about12 hours a day dusk to dawn thanks

Are most GU10 downlighter holes around the 70-80mm mark?

OK, so I read up about using fused GU10s with dimmers to avoid the dimmer being taken out when the lamp dies.
