I been asked by a customer to install a heat mat. The problem I have is I can only connect to the 32a ring. I've noticed a few connections made in connectors and tapped up.
also there consumer unit is under the stairs which has a sink and toilet. The head is under the sink which was once boxes...
As my old trusty paint stripper heat gun has packed up, can anyone recommend a gas cartridge one. I bought one of those that use a zippo lighter from ebay, and could never get it to work.

I plan to add a wireless heat detector to an existing interlinked smoke system consisting of 2 smoke alarms. Can anyone tell me if I need 3 wireless radio bases or 2? I plan to use aico if that makes any difference ?

I've come across a fire alarm system in a nightclub where they have A1R heat detectors only in every room is this acceptable ? or should they have smoke detectors as well?
