Hi Guys,
I'm tweaking the layout to my garage and I'd like to put a cabinet against the wall right where my conservatory sockets are fed from. Due to this I need to recess a junction.

Hi all,

I was kindly given a sample box containing twenty of these Quickwire pre-wired junction boxes by the manufacturer for me to install and assess on-site. I have to say that I was most impressed by the ease and quickness of installation. I'll certainly be using them again. Has anyone else tried...
I moved into a new house today and whilst moving the sofa I broke the blanking plate off what I think is a junction box near the electric meter (it has two wires in one way and one the other way). I'm tempted to have a go at it myself or even just superglue it back on as it is just the box that...

Hello,
While pulling up floor boards for plumbing purposes (1950s semi detached) I came across an old style junction box (black plastic and screwed) attached to a joist. This is for the downstairs lighting circuit from what I can tell (size of wires and disappearing into the ceiling in a...

Hi, Just recently qualified.

Prior to doing this, i tested the ring continuity, r1 was 0.52 ohms, rn was 0.53 and r2 was 0.73, so...
