Alarm keypad

Hi guys I don't get involved in alarms at all but I need to change the keypad on my house alarm, basically a few of the buttons ain't working and is becoming a pain, any advice on where to start, do you have to put it in a service mode or anything? And where is the code actually stored?

electric latch and keypad

i have been asked for a 12v supply to a electric key pad and latch to a gate now what im asking is can i have transformer inside and run 7 m to the key pad i think it wall draw 1 A max but i know that there is a lot of volt drop on 12 v i was thinking of just putting 1mm tw/e from transformer...

fitting keypad speech dialler

hello, i currently have a accentra keypad and would like to fit a better one that can txt me. can i buy any brand and it work with my exsisting control panel? any recommendations would be appreciated. i found this one, menvier sd2 are they any good? Menvier SD2 SPEECH DIALLER

Alarm problem!! Veritas 8 tried everything please help!!!!!!!!!

Hey all, I've installed an alarm at home, 3 pirs, 2 door contacts, a remote keypad and a bell box to a veritas 8 main panel, set it all up and it seems to work fine, there are no faults coming up all wiring has been checked several times and all options checked checked and checked again but...

Hi Guys, got a call earlier today asking if i could install a texcom veritas key pad onto an existing Sterling 10 alarm system,as the existing keypad digits been giving problems (God knows where he has got the veritas keypad from)...i said yeah no problem....now im thinking..can i? :confused:
