Sizing bango earth fly lead

Hi Guys, How do you know what size of earth wire to use from the bango to earth terminal in a DB, when using say: 25mm 4-core swa sub main feeding a DB. (L1, l2 l3 and neutral, armour used as cpc). I would gland, with a bango and choose a size half of the phase size, so 16mm earth lead...

RCD Extension lead testing

Hello When pat testing a RCD extension lead I always test the RCD is working with the test button and with my meter. but in doing so i normally knock the RCD in the consumer unit out. is there anyway to test this without setting all the rcds off ? Thanks Philip

110v Extension Lead testing

Every 110v lead i have tested including new ones have failed the earth bond test. They all give a reading of 0.25ohm. I have the earth clip connected to a screwdriver when testing. I am using a smartpat 5500 What am i doing wrong

32a 3 phase extension lead.

My dad wants me to make him an extension lead. Currently a 32A 3 phases soscket on a genrator. He has severral different loads ( all motors) but there total loads are about 20A Use some braided SY cable. 4mm 4core or 5 core? I guess its better to have a seprate earth core so 5 core.I need...
