Hi. Anybody know a good solution for running a vga lead through a wall?
It is coming ftom a cctv dvr to a monitor in a different room.
The problem is that I dont want to make a mess by drilling a large hole for the pre moulded plug to go through the wall.
I also dont want to cut the lead and...

Thinking of getting either a Fluke 1654B or a Megger 1720 as my Metrel is doing my head in when having to use three leads for looping light fittings and it takes ages carrying out no trip Zs tests etc. Can the Fluke do a 2 lead Zs, if not I might as well just go for the Megger and be done with it?
Good Evening Lads
Been out of the game for a while, I have a 1553, can someone please explain the lead positions and the correct test procedures.
Many Thanks

We've just had an enquiry for a system on a small barn in the Oldham area - 18m x 4m
Too far for us but we'd like to advise him of a firm who he could contact. Anyone on here cover that area?
Hi I've just moved testers from fluke to megger 1553, just wondering if the socket test lead measures the R1 & Rn reading when testing a ring main. The R1 + R2 reads ok just wondering if I need to purchase a Kewtech R2 mains adapter Thanks

Not easy to see in the image but the Live and Neutral are fused together. I ripped the top off to see what happened. It was in a B and B house kitchen.
Just wondering which companies others are using, if any, for lead generation?
We are using SolarGuide which isn't too bad. Still get a fair amount of poor leads but we do get some work from it.
Anyone used any of these?
Solvari

Price Engine

Would be good to...
Someone had away with my Metrel wander lead recently so (being a skinflint) I cobbled one together from 2.5mm g/y singles which do the job ok, if indeed its a right pain to roll back up.
Got an Elecsa assessment coming up - provided I null it if he asks me to use it for anything that requires...
This is going to sound stupid but when testing the continuity of bonding conductors does everyone else connect a lead to the met then test the from the lead to the cable?
Went to wire out a small garage today & the owner had already ran the SWA in. He's got it in ducting underneath the patio but he's obviously went & took it through the garage floor when the cement was wet or poured the cement in all round the cable. It's not in ducting in the garage, instead is...
Does anybody use method 2 regularly apart from the main bonding and if so do you not do the r1r2 value. Just really wandering if there's any advantage too??
