Multiple LED strip power issue
Hi people. Bought a 12v dc power splitter cable to power 2 5meter length 5050 colour change LED strip lights. noticed the next day that the cable melted really bad. Im not sure why this is? the ac-dc is a 6amp 72watt and the total power of both strips should be 48watt so that should be fine...- samtomes

Pir to led strip
Hi need some help please, bought a mini pir for led strip lights. Now I'm not sure it's compatible. The lights are low 12v the pir is a 240v input. Will it work anyway or Could I connect the output of the pir to the 240v mains connection before the converter Any help, thanks- Goj

LED strip lights - power supply.
Trying to work out power supply for LED strip lights. 12v DC with a wattage of 9.6w per Meter. There is 5m in total. Am I correct in saying its just the general rule of 230v to work it out. I.e.... 48w/12v = 4amp.- highspark

wrong polarity on led strip light

Flexible 12V LED strip fried?
As an accountant I never checked the voltage of the 12V eBay flexible LED strip and plugged it into the 220V mains. Can anyone tell me if the entire strip is fried or if I can cut one out to rescue the rest? How do I know which one (if it is only one)? Apologies if this is a very basic question...- charl9
