Hi, on our annual pv assesement we had a NC due to the irradiance level when testing the strings being recorded at 58 W/m2, so reasonably dull/overcast i guess but not exactly dark. I never knew that the minimum level has to be 200w/m2, does anyone know where this is documented please?? Our...
Has anyone had any experience with increased voltage levels caused by PV systems affecting any of the installed equipment on site? Had to reset an SB 4000TL to G83/1 on a domestic install recently as the voltage levels were to high for the G59 settings particularly on sunny days. There seem to...

Just a quick one, something i was wondering
The banding for Fits are 0-4kw, then 4kw to 10kw etc
If you install a 4kw dead on (16 x 250watt) system, who decides which bracket it goes in.
or should it realistically say, 0-4, then 4.1 to 10 kw.
do you see what im getting at:lol:
Hi Everyone
Looking to get a laser level and pole. Also like the idea of a digital plum or something to help with setting out downlights.
This does not have the plum I think but what do you think? Leica LINO L2 Laser Level | UK Supplier for Leica Laser Levels

Hi all, looking at buying a laser level but not too sure what to look for. I don't want to be spending loads on one, but need something that can take a kick or two. Also whats better for a sparkys needs, the rotary ones or just a simple cross line laser level?
I think Srewfix have really gone down hill, stock levels are really poor and it is really annoying when they ask if you have found everything I am looking for onlyy to tell me it is out of stock.
Evening guys.
I will be installing some sign lights in a conservation area next month and the local council required the Luminance levels (cd/m). I know this is the illuminance x reflected factor but don’t know how to measure it. Any ideas?
I don’t think it’s a matter of using my light meter...
