I am in the market to buy a new wall chaser and have narrowed it down to two models but which is the better? Its either the makita sg1250 or the metabo mfe30? both are supplied with two diamond discs and have a dust extraction fitted. Has anyone used either or heard anything about them?
Guys,
does anyone know if any company does a drill that drills at a angle ie when trying to drill through joists under a floor the drill hits another joist and if you try to drill in the middle of the joist it will come out lower on the other side.your thoughts
Makita HR2230 or Hitachi DH24PC3 both are the same price but which would any of you recommend?
I have been using a cheap one, think it was argos for about £40, only problem with it it doesn't lock when in hammer only so the chisels move round as you try chasing walls which is a right pain.
And its a dewalt!!!!!!!
Found this on screwfix and had a 5 pound voucher so for 95 pound i couldnt argue....

I have found the hitachi for about £230 and the makita for £300. I have used the hitachi quite a bit as my supervisor has had a couple, I was wondering whether it...

Hi all, I'm looking to buy a 2kg corded SDS plus drill with roto-stop for chiselling. Prefer known brands and not much more than £100 or so. I've narrowed it down to three and simply can't decide which is the better drill as they are all similarly spec'ed and similar prices. So... any...
Does anyone use one of these bosch multicutters?
I bought one the other week for a job I was on but am only getting 8-10 minutes from a battery
I have spoke to Bosch who said this is correct, but the shop I bought it from say otherwise. Any ideas????
What drill would you recommend i get? Should i get a good drill such (i.e makita lxt range) or should i go for a cheaper option such as erbauer?
Also, are lithium batteries worth the extra money?
110 volt makita jig saw, works fine, old now but not had a lot of use (in fact i've used it twice in the last 6 years) so new home wanted, photo a bit iffy taken in loft with phone, shall we say £20, i'm nottingham / mansfield area or can price postage if anyones interested.
I bought an 18v makita with 3-batteries for 99 quid, the latest wonder product at screwfix..I can tell you it is spot on, I love it. I've used it now for 3 days it is robust, i've drilled 10mm in tough hardwood, used big 10 x 70mm screws, battery power is good. 25mm holes in trunking, no probs...
