I bought an 18v makita with 3-batteries for 99 quid, the latest wonder product at screwfix..I can tell you it is spot on, I love it. I've used it now for 3 days it is robust, i've drilled 10mm in tough hardwood, used big 10 x 70mm screws, battery power is good. 25mm holes in trunking, no probs...

Makita 7.2v Impact drivers

Makita TD020DSE 7.2V Lithium Ion Cordless Impact Drill Driver - Are these any good. would anyone recommend these as I was looking at either this or the dewalt 3.6v but thats not an impact driver.

Ryobi 18v combi drill - any good?

hi all, i need an 18v combi drill, i cant afford much but at the same time dont want to buy twice! i was looking at hitach and makita 18v drills but they are a bit much (and the one at screwfix has crappy batteries!) ive seen a ryobi 18v combi drill and impact driver for £99, do you think...
