    Testing ze at the origin

    Hi all I'm an industrial sparky on maintenance doing my eal initial verification exam tomorrow was just wondering when doing ZE at the origin, do you do Neutral L1,L2,L3 and then Earth L1,L2,L3 and N+E ? Or is there between phases too? And is this the same for The PFC?

    Metrel instaltest giving strange readings when testing single phase voltage

    Hi everyone, I have a metrel instaltest that, when testing single phase voltage always returns a reading of 540 V on L1 L2 L3. This suggests an internal fault that it automatically thinks it's testing three phase somehow. Has anyone else experienced similar faults with Metrel gear? Thanks

    Metrel MFT - loose connection

    bloody tester is not playing ball when it comes to saving results, nulling out test lead resistances or recalling memory.... just spent several hours arsin about with it and getting to the point where i`ll throw it at the wall.... nearly new tester that hasn`t done any real work...anyone else...
