I have a customer who is having a Kitchen fitted and has all the appliances picked out and ordered. The hob is an induction type hob and it says in the Kitchen Costing that it is a 20a Load required. When investigating the actual spec of the hob it states clearly that it is a 4.6kw Hob. I just...
H guys,
Went to see a customers Neff Type D [FX37-4] kitchen extractor hood today, where he complains of it not absorbing the steam from cooking.
It has a chimney but doesn't have any side exits at the top for the re-circulated air. I think it sucks and blows out the air from the centre...

Thanks,
JLO
Hi
Wondering if anyone can help.....
I have a 20 year old (yep, pretty old!) Neff Circotherm oven which worked perfectly well until last week, when the 13amp wall socket it is wired into "blew" - it tripped the other wall sockets in the kitchen, and resetting the circuit breakers did nothing -...
anybody any idea why an Neff oven would be tripping an rcd after about 2-5 mins of starting to heat up, i took apart and done insulation resistance test and all fine but cant do test while cooker on, it reminds me of a problem with car which wont show itself when mechanic is there:mad:
I am about to replace a thermostat which I think has been the cause of power supply tripping in the house.
This diagnosis was made by someone more experienced than myself so I hope it will solve the problem.
If the problem persists, can someone tell me of any other possible likely causes...
We have been doing as little bit of remedial work and indentifying circuits on a new build that the original electrician has been binned from. I wont go on about the things we've found as that is not why im posting.
