    Thoughts on this please, functional earth leads obviously showing signs of heat damage, the greenish coloured neutral leads compared to the blue ones are coloured throughout their length, maybe heat has caused this?

    Need to add neutral slots to my 125 amp panel to match ground slots.

    I have an Eaton 125 amp panel with a ground bus bar with 24 slots and 14 neutral slots. I have a 6 breaker Reliance 7500w transfer panel connected to it. The main panel has 4 unused breakers.     how many ohms can you have neutral to earth without opening a 30mA RCBO. My thinking is If=V/R so, If=230/0.03 = 7.6Kohms So 7.7kohms will keep it closed

    Why neutral and hot reversed only when a/c is turned on?

    I have tenants that have 3 fairly new small a/c units all the same and when any of them are turned on my tester reads hot & neutral reversed. The 15 amp circuit that feeds these units has no ground wire. Is this normal or could these a/c units be wired wrong from the factory?
