    SMA Power plugs

    Contractor has lost the power plugs off SMA2500HF. I think they are Cloverleaf shaped so maybe a C6 to C13 adapter would work to then use standard IEC leads off the shelf. Anyone know the type of plug into the inverters for sure?

    Solid raw plugs

    Hello guys, I'm fed up with trying to clip to the wall and the nails just bending or the bricks blowing e.t.c. I was wondering if anyone knew where I could buy solid raw plugs that I could hammer a nail into, like a plastic dowel, but cut into pieces say the size of a raw plug. Cheers Guys Tom

    Q on wall mounted generator plugs (240v)

    High current CEE form plugs/sockets.

    Hi chaps, Can someone enlighten me as to what the fourth pin is for in a single phase CEE-form plug? I've noticed that some 63A+ plugs have them and some don't... Don't know why I've never wondered about this before... Was just faffing with some the other day and it got the grey matter working!

    GRR, rewirable plugs...

    How come those stupid re-wirable plugs are SO hard to rewire? The wires are never the right length, and one always never fits or the strangs come untwisted... What tricks do you have for using re-wirable plugs, or making them easier to rewire?

    A housing rewire specification says you have to use brown plugs and 5mm screws, would you comply ? would it make you think anything about the rest of the specification document ?

    Can anyone explain why some people refer to a British 13 amp plug as a 'plug-top'? Where does the 'top' bit come in? I call them a 13 amp plug, or if being unambiguous or pedantic a BS1363 plug.
