Seriously annoyed.:hammer:

I'm getting seriously riled by some of the prices that I'm seeing popping up here and there. This latest one on the forum has really irritated me. £5,950 all in?!
What is going on? It has gotten to the point that people must be ending up out of pocket till they get the VAT return. You can't...
I've just been having a scout around at the competitions websites, and I'm starting to see why people might be pretty baffled by the current situation with FITs, system prices etc.
There are still websites out there with FIT payback calculations based on the 43.3p FIT rate, websites mentioning...
Just wandered what people are using for their inverter choice as a budget option?
I've seen some good prices on Steca inverters recently and they look great. Anything else?
While were at it, what about panel prices?
It sounds like some companies are heading down towards 50p/w
Just had an email from a customer we've been to who is keen to use us but we're more expensive than another local company who don't provide the same service. I can argue some of the cost on quality etc and we're not expected to price match but these guys appear to be coming in with a 4kwp @...
There seems to be some misinformation in the mainstream media that the post cut tariff is no more or not worth considering. The truth is that returns are in the 10-12% region in the south of the UK and as good as they were for most of last year:
Half price solar provides similar rates of return...
Hey chaps,
I know we often have discussions about pricing but to me it seems that prices just seem to be getting lower and lower with no end in sight.
Take this recent quote I did and I'd be interested in your views / prices for similar:
Rewire of a 17th century Wiltshire cottage (actually...
What are you guys paying on your 1.5mm & 2.5mm t&e at present. I find screwfix are cheaper than my wholesaler? Time to move Wholesalers? Also that really plastic looking stuff is going round and its crap to use. I like the lighter grey stuff thats more flexible. I asked wholsaler why he doesn't...
I read recently that pv prices are expected to drop about 29% this year. I don't know of it's true but they are certainly dropping off again this week. The cheapest I've seen so far is 59p - any advance on that????
and no I didn't mention quality .... I think we're all going to have to...
How far will we see the price of panels drop to make the new tarrif worth while?
Who is cheapest for Canadian Solar and Suntech at the moment has anyone come across any good new deals??
Has it gone dead on the PV side for anyone else?
Done a 'few' i.e ONE quote for someone few weeks back which should be a guaranteed but other than that nothing.
I know it's early days after the 3rd March but don't fancy the rush coming again 2 weeks before end of March.
Can anyone recommend an electrical wholesaler in North London?
I am based near Turnpike lane N8.
Local wholesalers near me don't publish prices.
Do most folks order on-line these days?
Thanks
Tom
