Hi all,
I'm looking at purchasing a proving unit, I need something that will work with both multimeters and multifunction testers as the instruments I normally use to check for voltage are a Megger 8037, and a Megger MFT 1553.
Any advice gratefully received, thanks.
Do i need to get my Proving unit and volt tester checked and do i need a cert like the muli tester?
Also, where could i get a copy of the Elec at work act guys
Many Thanks
Currently (no pun intended) training as a sparky, would be grateful for ideas about which proving unit to buy, are they all much of a muchness or are there some to be avoided, after all this could save your life one day. All thoughts appreciated.

Hi everyone,
Im looking to buy my first (always use companies) voltage/continuity tester. I have seen the likes of Fluke online and wondering which ones are best to use, and also which proving units work with which testers?
Many Thanks
Matt
