    can someone please tell me why when you change an old rewireable fuseboard to a circuit breaker consumer unit does it have to consist of a time delay rcd on a tt system? and also what would happen if you didn't put a time delay rcd in?

    in a t.t system i have all way thought you need a 100mA s type dp rcd covering the whole installation been to a job today and it is a standard board dp isolator and filled with rcbo's which yes they will protect as for high earth loop but they are only single pole am i right in my thought's

    RCBO's on to old wiring....HELP!!!

    I seem to be having alot of trouble after installing anew consumer unit with 5 RCBO's I have got really high milli second readings and dont understand why I am looking at 350 x 1 and no operation on x 5. IR is fine and so is R1 + R2. Any suggestions????:confused:
