Hi,
Please could you tech savvy people advise a novice which products are recommended for LED strip lights for a Kitchen

Hi All,
I will be having a full rewire done shortly and will fit an LED floodlight for the garage and driveway, and one for our garden. My budget is £35 per light (or thereabouts).
So far, 2 manufacturers have come up in my research: Timeguard (Timeguard LEDPRO10B 10 Watt Black Professional...
Hi guys, I've been doing a bit of research into electrical software/apps as an alternative to the really bad Stroma software (Tracker Mobile) I currently have, I've sampled EasyCert Mobile which I found really straight forward however the layout in which it asked the questions didn't follow the...
Hello,
I'm looking to buy an easy to use PAT tester. I am currently using the Seaward Primetest 350. The thing is you have to have software for this tester to download your test onto your PC. I know that the Primetest Apollo range is easier to use as there is no need for software. Any other...

I have been asked to tender for a new build 3 storey house. I will be pricing it myself using a per point price basis as a guideline, and I am interested to see what an estimator would price it at and see how the prices would compare. Does anyone have any recommendations of an estimator we could...
Quiet Friday night in - up early tomorrow driving down south. So I've just finished up 'Stranger Things.' A pretty decent little series by Netflix. A massive nod at 80's Sci-Fi. The genre usually isn't my thing but I really enjoyed it. Nothing too flashy, but still worth a watch.
So now I'm...

After some LED downlight recommendations, have been looking at Ansell Orbio 360 and Enlite E5/E5, like the look of the E5/E8
Any good or bad feedback, any other suggestions.
Need to be dimmable.
Thanks.
I live in a block of 8 privately owned flats, the maintenance is carried out by a private company.

Evenin' all,
Looking for recommendations for an in line fan. Want to install 2 of these in my loft to replace the ceiling extract fans currently in place. I don't want to spend too much but want something that will be effective.
Also, would anyone recommend venting out through a roof tile...
Hi all,
Can any of you recommend a photocell or some type of photocell cover that would prevent LED soffit lights triggering the photocell. The beam angle of the soffit lights is hitting the photocell and triggering it to go on and off when dark. Was going to move the photocell but then...
Just a quick one. Testing a house that's install is about 20 year old. Obviously hasn't got a metal clad DB, earthing is only 10mm. Would you put these down in the reccomendations? Even though these items were perfectly fine when it was installed?

Hi all,
Been asked to install an extractor fan in a bathroom and am looking to go down the soffit vent route. Having looked on-line, there are quite a few to choose from. Does anyone have any recommendations based on past experience?
At the moment, my favourite is this:-
Lambro Under Eave...
Hello all.
I have been in discussions with my client with regards lighting for her horse manege for some time as the client has been changing their mind quite a bit about how many poles to have down each side, whether to have 2 x 150w per post or 1 x 240w p/post etc etc.
I have given lighting...
Evening gents, could you lads with experience in wireless intruders please recommend one for me please as I have the need to get one fitted at home!
Thanks in advance, Jim
It is my reading that doing impedance tests we like a nice low resistance in theory overall and especially for earth , both Ze and R1 or both R1 and/or R2.
This makes a high potential fault current Uo/Ze, way above the allowed fuse sizes for a light circuit or many power too. So do wires really...
