Hi
I have a robin KMP5406DL RCD tester which has a pulg lead to test socket circuits. How would I test
a radial circuit on a RCBO with this tester.
Could I use the 3 leads cable supplied with the KMP4120 loop tester
on the RCD tester? If so where should I test CU or end of circuit and how...

I'm desperate for a set of test leads for my Robin KTS 1630. The one I particularly need is the live test lead, the thing stopping me using a generic set is the round three-pin connector at the tester end, this seems to be extinct on modern testers. Any ideas? At the very least I could do...
Hello all,
I've recently went self-employed and I'm on the hunt for cheapish test equipment (for domestic use)? I don't want to be spending a fortune, as I will only be using it occasionally.
I would even consider buying second hand, but I thought I would ask for a bit of advice, thank you!
Phil
Hello everyone,
I have just bought a Robin KTS 1620 from ebay. I am new to actually testing and this is my first tester. Continuity seems to work fine though the problem is with the Insulation Resistance function. When I place the croc clips together I get a reading of 1.2MΩ fluctuating to...

Do's the robin 1610 mft megger loop rcd fluke comply with GS38, BS7671 and part p?
I would like it for domestic installation, to do all the tests that are need to sign off a new installation according to regs.
Anyone got any recommendations on what replacement leads I should get? The ones I'm using at the moment is the old robin ones and the croc clips are pants.
Wished I'd of got a megger but I've used a fluke since college. When I get enough cash together think I'll invest in one.
Does this item comply with BS7671 and part P Robin 1610 Multifunctional Tester Megger Loop Rcd Fluke Electrical Tester?
I am thinking of buying a second hand one.
Hi guys, what would cause an RCD to trip when carrying out a Zs test, it is a lighting circuit in a new build house and I have it on the "no trip" setting and it still trips the RCD, the RCD itself passed the RCD tests and the IR is 800Mohms so that's fine, I even even replaced the RCD but the...
As it says. Very easy to use, and i will give a free training course on how to use it, this will take nearly 5 minutes.
Excellent condition, but needs calibrating, i have checked it against a calibrated machine, and it is spot on.
Would prefer collection, it is heavy, but would deliver for cost...
Hi all,
Just wondered if someone could tell me why my Robin Loop Tester with de-lock will only test through BS4293 Rcds? As soon as I use it on a 61008 or 61009 it will trip it?
I do normally use a megger with de-lock and its fine, but I like to use the robin for industrial/commercial tests.
Robin Smartpat 3000, good as new, little used, very easy to use, ideal bit of kit if you are new to Pat testing, or just do a bit as a side line.
£175.00 collected from Leeds, local delivery possible. Price includes free 5 minute training course on how to use it, IT IS THAT EASY.
