    robin tester.

    Unfortunatly i have been isued with an older robin loop tester. How do i stop the rcd tripping when i wanna measure the loop impedance. Also how do i do this on rcd sockets.

    Went to the robin site Welcome to Robin Electronics looking for specs on the KTS 1610 that i can pick up fairly cheap, seems to direct you to a fluke site promoting their testers. Strange - or have I been drinking too much? :D

    Robin KMP4120DL

    Does anyone still use a Robin KMP4120 loop tester?I just wondered as there always seems to be a demand for them on Ebay and I believe its the only one to use DC to lock the RCD rather than reducing the test current to 15ma or so.

    I have a robin kts 1620 multifunction meter.The unit is not fitted with a d,lock when testing zs it will of cause trip the rcd protecting that circuit but not before i get a zs reading on the meter i have tried twice on both cycles 0 degrees and 180 degrees and they both give the same readings...
