My trusty Hitachi SDS drill has died!:-(

After a long life and valuable service in the face of all adversity my SDS drill popped on Friday!:-( It was like losing a long serving friend. So do I replace with a new Hitachi, Dewalt or other offering? Any suggestions greatly received, not that I really need them, just looking for amusement...

SDS drill being used instead of core drill?

I realise this has been asked before, but I find the search bar really poor on the site since the big change and it doesn't come up with anything useful. I am getting more extractor fan installs that require wall mounted fans. Instead of hiring a core drill once a year I wondered if anyone uses...

    SDS scutch. What brand?

My SDS Scutch is a "Duro" brand one and it's never really worked well. The combs fall out. I don't mean they work their way along occasionally, (which I might expect), I mean they move all the way across, or fall right out every ten seconds. I keep needing to stop and whack it back in with...

Hi all, I haven't lubricated my SDS chuck since I've had it, so it's well over due. Was wonder if it's alright to just use 3in1 oil, before I go on a hunt for some special kind of lubricant. I vaguely remember once using some kind of cream in a tube. (As I write this it's starting to sound...
