Im currently at a stage where I have been working on site now for a year as a electricians mate whilst undertaking the last part of this course.
It has come to my attention that the qualifications obtained through the course, I will unable to obtain a trainee card let alone a gold ECS card...

I have a Nissa xtrail (petrol) that is refusing to start... It's a long story but ...two things happened more or less at the same time - 1. Timing chain jumped some teeth due to failed tensioner & 2. Crank Pos sensor developed a fault which somehow melted the connector block!.

Please correct me if I'm wrong I was thought that an RCD should trip when you come In contact with a live conductor. Now I have had 2 electric shocks in the last 3 months and on both occasions and the RCD did not trip.The RCD was tested and passed.
Any ideas ?
