My electrician had been filling in an installation certificate in a house and finished it. It was for a complete installation . He left it in the house which was still a bit of a building site. When we returned, the certificate had been lost by the customer. Does anyone have any suggestions...

I'm a fully qualified 17th edition electrician. I am just wondering if i am able to sign off test certification for private housing. I have checked and it says as long as i am deemed competant but that seems a loose interpretation.

So I went to do a job this morning for a builder I know. Nowt big, just extending the ring and added a few more lights. When I turned up, the builder said, "we have had a guy in fitting the controls for the new heating system etc and he said you need to tell your sparky to test the earth!!" So I...

Hi all hope you can help.

I'm one of those Royal Engineer sparkies that has 2391 and 17th ed but has never been in a loft space or chased out a wall till I left the forces. Having to make a big jump now, I've been given a break after floating around with a few different companies casually and I want to get...
