The meter is economy 7 and comes on at 730 to midnight but the customer wants panel convector so he can put them on and off when he wishes. Would he have to get his meter changed so he can use the panel convector heaters in the day?
sorry if its a stupid...

i have a customer that has 4kW on their property and would now like more installed.

Suprised no one else has picked up on this over the weekend but lets just say it ruined my Friday night.

Having a bit of a brain fart moment guys and would appreciate some input, please bare with me! The domestic economy rate I believe is the new name for economy 7. I am aware that the off-peak time for this tariff varies slightly region/weather depending.
Basing my question on a distant family...
Evening all
i was wondering if anyone has any knowledge of the dimpled quantum range. It has a dual supply one from the off and one on peak.
The installation instructions are rubbish and give little guidelines to the specific cable and mcb sizes only the unit cables are peak 1.5 and off peak...
I've had a look at a dual tariff meter for someone as they believe it has been wired wrong, due to receiving incredibly high bills.
It it should have a standard supply for the flat power and a lower rate for an electric heating board. When I had a look, there are 5 terminals rather than the...
Hi all, a question aimed more at my fellow Scottish members, I've recently moved into a flat that is on the above tariff. I am billed two amounts - heating and domestic, obviously with storage heaters and off peak water on lower rate, and power/lights on normal rate. My question is what rate is...
All feed-in tariff levels for solar PV will remain the same from 1 October 2014 to 31 December 2014.
Ofgem confirmed that deployment in all feed-in tariff trigger bands fell short of enacting an automatic degression, meaning that all FiT rates will remain the same until 1 January 2015...
Hi,
I've always thought that if a property (e.g. farm) had two MPANs then you can get two supplies in at the highest FiT tariff for the size of the system on each MPAN, i.e. they don't get aggregated but looking through the FiT legislation it also mentions the concept of a site being more than...
Has anyone had any luck with customers negotiating export at a rate higher than the standard 4.77 pence per unit? I've got a customer that will export around 36600 units and another company says it can get him a higher export rate.
Thanks.
Hi There, Can anybody give me a bit of advice , i'm looking at putting a small pv system on a stable block with a small wind generator, not sure if this system will need mcs registration , and also if there is any tariff , or is it a case of fitting system and using what you produce !
Thanks D
From the RECC website (see below):
Told them about it and response was, "It's just up there as an example of a Feed in Tariff calculation and nowhere on the page does it claim to be the current tariff rate" Wonder what response I'd get if I used that line to my next auditor...

According to this :-

The feed in tariff is set at the current rate until at least the 1st April 2014.
Hi I have a strange customer who has accepted a 4Kw domestic quote, he has a modern house but is refusing to have an EPC carried out.
It got me thinking does he then qualify for the Middle range of FIT payments or the Lower Range. Any help greatly appreciated.
