I live in the country and a lot of my work is on TT systems. I was thinking of investing in a Megger earth tester which test soil resistance and rod resistance. Anyone used one of these, if so how did you get on with it and was it worth the investment

Hi Guys I'm looking for a multi function tester / set of testers to cover all the tests I need for 17th Edition.
Not bothered on make would prefer calibrated but again this isn't an issue as I can get calibrated

Seaward SBS7671 tester needs calibrated, leads etc, also seaward 2000i pat tester I might manage the software also. not looking for a lot pat tester was in constant use till last year

I was gonna do my pir in exactly the same way as i do initial verifications, unplug all loads, disconnect voltage sensitive equipment etc etc... but have been told some testers do things i found very confusing, ie:
