All,
I'm in need to an insualted torque wrench or driver capable of tightening between 4 and 10 Nm.
Any recommendations that won't break the bank.
This is for working on battery strings so need to be insulated.
My elbow is out of calibration and i would like to use a torque screwdriver instead, its something ive been putting off but i have finally caved.
What torque screwdriver is everyone using?
A little review would also be helpful
Bought a torque driver today, any clue on recomended values for connector blocks, henleys, MCB ?
I imagine its cable size dependant? Anyone have a quick table i can print and laminate?

I'm thinking of getting a torque screwdriver but unsure if it's worth it. Is it a regulation now or just good practice now for connections to be torqued? If so is it just for CU's?

Had my annual niceic assessment today (only DI mind)
Showed him a rewire I done few months back- literally had nothing to 'pick at'
only thing he said is when I was un-screwing the mcb to get end to end reading- I just used a normal screw drive- and I should be using a torque one...
Hello fellow electricians I was wondering if any of you have seen a VDE bit that allows different screwdriver heads to be placed in the end (If that makes any sense to you) I dont really want to keep buying different type heads when I can just swap them out from my little socket set many thanks.

just wondering if torque screwdrivers need calibrating regularly? Had a set for a year roughly and wondering if they need calibrating, and if so, can anyone recommend a good company to have them calibrated.
