In testing and developing automated, reconfigurable control boxes/panels we often use the wago lever connectors here - they're ideal for rapidly swapping components and in general for quick assembly.
I'm curious as to whether in domestic situations you chaps are making use of them these days? I...
I've just watched a video on youtube about installing a bathroom extractor fan off of the light switch.
In it the guy says how much easier this is when you use Wago connector blocks rather than a ceiling rose (about 7 and a half minutes in). He's using Wago 3-way lever connector 222 blocks...
Not sure how many of you have received this from the Wago marketing department ............. definitely worth ordering some samples!

Hi folks,
I'm not an electrician and don't intend to do anything above and beyond the standard DIY changing of sockets/lights etc but I have a question that I'm interested in learning more about.
I recently came across the Wago connectors (which look to be a lot easier to use than the standard...
Saw this being done today .....
OK, its above the ceiling, but the same individual did the same before he dropped a connection on the RFC below the floorboards ...........
Not convinced that the MF rating is achieved by the tape ............. but willing to be persuaded.....
Hi all
If wiring a pool on a 32amp breaker using 6mm cable for heater and wiring the pump of the same circuit. What would be the best way to join 3 x 6mm cables together in the junction box? The reason is the armoured in connected to heater then coming of that to feed fused spur for pump...
Got to admit never had the need to use them in the past so am not in the know. However ive got a kitchen rewire to start at the end of the week where the cooker circuit ( 6mm2 ) and two legs of the ring ( 2.5mm2 ) need extending. Pulling in new legs isnt really an option as the house is...
Where is everyone buying their wagos from at the minute ? I'm after a bulk order to stock up for a bit so the cheapest the best really. My local wholesaler is about the same price as screwfix but I'm sure there must be better deals out there somewhere......
Seen these advertised; WAGO Corporation - Products - Terminal Blocks and Connectors - Compact Splicing Connectors
Repacing the 222 series. Looks like the Wagobox enclosure will be due a redesign.
PS Wished they do a 4 connector design.
So I'm working on a large domestic rewire / extension at the moment that's been designed by someone else. It's always nice to be working from clear CAD drawings, but along the way I'm anticipating ways in which I might be able to make my life easier at second fix while also trying not to deviate...
Though I'd ask what some of you use when extending cables for a consumer unit change. I always would have thought crimps and heat shrink to be the best way, but wago push connectors seem to be not bad. Quicker to use and a better hold on solid core cable (t&e)
Anyone had much experience using wiska boxes with wago lever terminals
And using the wiska 2 part gel to fill boxes?
After testing continuity after filling the box, am getting continuity between live and neutral showing
a dead short between conductors! Is this just occurring during the...
Evening all..
I was in two minds whether to post this thread as it will show me up as a fool, but it's worth it if it brings attention to the wago fakes.
I regret to say I bought some wago's from Ebay. From a dealer with excellent feedback and marketed as 'Wago', but it was still very foolish...
Morning chaps.
Been a while since I was here but am I right in thinking an old sponsor of the forum sold wago style connectors?
I did do a search but not much luck. Cheers guys
How many of you guys use wago clips and are they any good?
Is these considered as a professional consumeble products, or are they just a DIY gimmik?
I was doing some remmedial work on a new build recently and these things where everywhere you looked.
I had to remove a few in order to...
