hi all just wanted to check something re wago connectors (lever type) i cant find anything in the regs that suggests that they cant be used inside a internal conduit box or suitable enclosure for connecting single core cables to flex for outside light. the box will be accessable for inspection...
my experiance with this stuff was years ago in certain wall lights and drum fittings. later if there was a problem it was always at these places where you had pushed the wires in . so i dont really trust them . am i wrong are they now the bees knees or do people still get problems with them
Hi all,
I am a BIG fan of the Wago connectors, but am I required to enclose them in a box? They seem to me, to be very well insulated in themselves....
????
Greetings.
I think Wago's are great, a really useful and helpful little product but I have one doubt about them.
The conductors are joined inside the Wago joint and using the Wago lever arms are clamped firmly into place, this is all good.
The conductors must be joined inside the joint by...
I used the wago stuff today for the first time and thought it was really great. It got me thinking ..... why don't they also do a range of accessories like sockets and switches and even light fittings, fitted with their style of lever and pushconnect terminations. Imagine how much time that...
Can anyone tell me the difference between a wago box and a wago box specifically for lighting? I'm assuming one is designed specifically for the lighting style wago connectors (which I've not used) and the other is for the push fit and lever type wago connectors. There's no difference in...

Hi people where is the cheapest place online to buy my first wago set? I've seen starter packs at £18 or a 690 piece assorted one on eBay for £109.
Any help would be much appreciated
Never used or really seen these before, but today I remembered how much I hate chocolate block connectors.
Are they quicker/easier to use?
Do they need an enclosure to be put in?

How do you prepare a cable for insertion to a Wago connector? They type of Wago I mean is one where you just push the cable in - there's no lever.
How would I know how much cable to bare/strip insulation...
Just had the latest forum offer regarding the LINE Junction Box.
Why is it stating that it is the only compliant JB?
I use Wago JB and am surprised that they don't meet requirements!!
Sat pricing a job yestaday load of downlights and other bits and then I remebered a thread on here the other day about wago connectors so off I went in search of them, not to difficult to find, and theres some good vids on the tube as well, anyhow I can see the upside straight away time saved no...
Hi lads,
I like the look and idea of these Wago connectors, never used them before but starting to think I need to get into the 21st century.
Anyway heres a few questions.
I do mainly private housing and commercial work so I do quite a bit of lighting(recessed) etc. so
1 - There are so many...
Best prices and places to purchase Wago connectors, all sizes. As I’ve noticed people always highlight, them when talking connections, i need some, they look like a nice an easy to use and fast connection block, looks like they can save on a lot of time, i just need to find out what is a good...

just had my first delivery of wago boxes and pushfit/lever connections. quick question can you use these connectors within a light fitting seperate from the the actual wago enclosure? i cant see why not as the light fiting will be acting as the outer enclosure. mainly want to use for...
