    UK Legal Details - Sockets - Where is the requirement for separate socket earths to be linked?

    I have come across a double socket where the earth terminations aren't linked together - Is this illegal (and what regulation do i look at?) or is it allowed, and I just put the loop-earth in one termination and join the unearthed socket with a length of Earth conductor?

    We are changing an internal rated socket out for an external rated socket. When we opened the casing on the socket theee small cross shape piece fell out and we can’t figure out where it goes back in. Can anyone help? Thanks. Refer to photos.

    UK Where can I get mini conduit, bends and elbows?

    So i am having some dramas as where to start for this practice theory exam question can someome please show me how to work it out :)

    Strip lights where spot lights were.

    Have three spot lights in wardrobe. Wired back to switch. Wanted to take out the three spots and replace with one strip light. The strip light is currently wired with a figure of 8 lead to a plug. 2.5/250 would it be correct to be able to strip off plug and wire this to where it current wires...
