G9 halogens, any good?
are these worth getting? i'm looking for a basic ceiling light, nothing fancy, but needs to be low energy and come with decent bulbs that last. have just fitted a 16W 2D CFL light (on my landing) and it gives off an awful white clinical light, and it flickers like mad on startup. so i'm going... -

i have been quoted for phillips 7w dimmable warm white £23, gu10 lamp holder £2, magnetic white downlights mr16 £10 = 35 per fittting nearly would you have any alternatives with this, iv noted haler do complete fitting for around 40... any input to get my braoin going be great..... -
