    RCD tripping times, 0.4 or <200 etc.....

    I always been told that an 30m/A RCD should trip within 200m/s (x1) and 40m/s (x5). But something iv never taken much notice of before is on test sheet the maximum disconnection time of a circuit less than 32A is 0.4. So....which is it? within 0.4 or within 200m/s????

    Neutral lead on RCBO'S

    What exactly are the neutral leads for? and if a neutral to earth happened on a board with just RCBO'S in it, why doesnt the fault travel along that neutral and affect the other RCBO's?

    Evening all, Has anyone been fitting "Lamp & Gear" 4W LED's? I've fitted quite a few, mainly in shop lighting to existing fittings, and have had a few failures, some within weeks. Some have been in downlighters and some in spotlight fittings (not enclosed). Just wondering if I've been unlucky!
