    Light must be on for bathroom fan to work. Can I rewire so each switch works independently?

    In my bathroom, the light (switch on left) must be switched on in order for the fan to be switched on. I would like to be able to run the fan without having to keep the light on. Any solutions for a simple rewire?

    Which humidistat fan actually works?

    I have just installed the manrose humidistat fan from screwfix (15722) and it stays on all the time. I have adjusted the humidistat controls to no avail. Quite a few of the humidistat fans have poor reviews. Could anyone recommend one that they fit and it actually switches off at some point? Cheers.
