Knowing me and my cousin, the 1 pint was likely a very conservative estimate for the end of the run, so no doubt we'll meet the expected requirements!

A quick update. I'm back on track with the running and knees are feeling fine now, so it seems the change of footwear helped. I've got my distance back up to 7k, and will be aiming to raise it again once I get back from my 2nd week at the training centre next week. In the meantime, my cousin has earned herself a sprained ankle running, so is currently out of action until the swelling has gone down etc.

To try and raise extra money for the charity I'm now also organising an Elvis night on the anniversary of Mums passing in june. So if any of you guys know of an Elvis artist in the north west who would be willing to reduce the fee for charity let me know!!

That's good to hear. Now that your physical training is going well, don't let your drinking training slip.

I'm off to Featherstone this week for my 2nd week at the ATL training centre. I'm pretty sure by mid week once the exam is out of the way, I'll find a pub to fall out of. There's only so much sitting studying in the B&B I can stand, especially as the others staying there will be Plumbing students ;) I've got myself a running route planned out as well, so hopefully the evenings will be a little less mind numbingly boring than last time. :)

I've just discovered the joys of canal cycling.
Did about 15 miles worth by pure chance the other day.
Most of it is flat, so I was well happy with that.

Well guys, the run is on Sunday and I'm fit and ready for it :) I'm just hoping for the weather to be nice! The knee problem has remained a thing of the past thankfully. I can't say my poor Cousin is fairing so well. She has a soft tissue injury to her ankle and suffering as a consequence. She's still determined to see it through to the end though, she's as tough as my Mum!! So far I've raised ÂŁ324 which is over the minimum required so I'm made up with that. A big thank you to everyone who's sponsored me!! :) If anyone else is willing to sponsor, could I ask you donate to my Cousins page rather than mine as she is yet to hit the minimum sponsorship of ÂŁ200. The link to her page is: Julie Terry is fundraising for The Stroke Association

If any of you happen to be in sunny Manchester on the day come give us a cheer!!
