It's people like you Amanda that makes a difference to the living although you've suffered the greatest loss yourself.

What you've done today takes heart and you've made your mum proud. Hold your head up high mate, well done.

It took my Mum's passing for me to realise just what an inspirational person she was, and how much I wanted those positive aspects of her life to live on. She dedicated so much of herself to trying to help others and neglected her own self in some ways. As a kid I don't really recall a month going by where there wasn't some Charity event she was organising or petitioning for those much less fortunate. It sometimes could drive us nuts! So if she's looking down proud of me for today, I hope too she knows it's only through her example and I'm a million times more proud of her and the lessons I can gain from her having lived and been my Mom. The fact still remains though, we could have gone out today and ran to the end of the earth, but it's down to those who donate their hard earned cash who make the major difference. :)

That is a very inspiring post, one of the best posts that I've read in a long time. A simple "thanks" and a "like" does not do it justice.

I stretched to some stubby's from Aldi Archy, had a nice hot bath and now wondering if I really want to drink the s#i*e? Not holding out much hope they'll be very good for ÂŁ3. ;) Might chance one though, just in case they're actually ok. Purely for medicinal purposes to ease mi muscles of course!
