16mm meter tails

Hi, gone to look at a board change job, it’s an old re-wirable fuse box less than 3m away from DNO and ran in 16mm tails, 10mm earth and no bonding to the incoming gas pipe and customer has no idea where the water comes in as the house has no stop cock. I will be putting a dual split rcd 100a main switch board in. My question is, is it good practice to upgrade the tails to 25mm and earth to 16mm?

Depends on the size of the incoming fuse

Yeah that’s the thing i’m not sure of as it’s sealed. Suppose i could take apart to look.

Tn-c-s. From dno to meter they have 25mm tails but from meter to consumer unit it’s 16mm.

Some cutouts are only 60A, with small ME fuse just a chance, but then you said 25mm tails so forget what I said.

Yeah 25mm from dno to meter then 16mm. Bit odd i thought. No harm in upgrading I suppose even if it is a 60a
