25mm tails and 10mm bonding is stated for new builds and rewires.
16mm tails and 6mm bonding is often acceptable, given certain situations and checks.
That sounds ridiculous to me for a one bedroom flat!! The DNO cut out fuse isn't going to be over 60A.
What is this obsession with 25mm tails these day's, i bet that in the vast majority of cases that installation is never going to see anywhere near 100A, and likely not see 80A either!!!
I think it's coming from the drawings in the on site guide lol!!!!

That's it exactly, I keep seeing 'BS7671 states 25mm tails' it doesn't, it states that cables must comply with the over current protective device!
I wonder how many have just the OSG rather than BS7671?
