I took the BS7671 18th Ed exam today. There were a few questions that I couldn't find and are bugging me.

Firstly, can anyone help with the following.

Q. What is the minimum Iz CCC of a conductor protected by a 20A BS3036 circuit protector.

I kept looking at the curve table for a BS3036 but still don't really understand the question.

Any got any ideas?

Second one was a question regarding grouping factor for eight conductors in conduit suspended from a ceiling.

I found Cg factors but couldn't find one that was specific for this scenario??

Q. What is the minimum Iz CCC of a conductor protected by a 20A BS3036 circuit protector. 20A (Iz greater than or equal to In)

Oh ffs, I've clicked what Iz is. It's the max CCC of the cable with all factors.

So basically Iz must be greater than or equal to In. It had to be 27A.

as it's a 3036, maybe the divide by 0.75 comes into play, giving you 27A.
