Thanks for the advice all!

The unit is a split air con unit so one outside and one inside. It comes with a plug on the end but I can’t seem to find any reference to actual current draw, just the cooling power. All the PCs are on surge protectors already, I like to be on the safe side of things.

The sockets are definitely needed so I am not able to blank these off.
 
From the posts, are there different types or styles of ac set ups? Guess price decides that.
Well there are split A/Cs where you have inner and outer units connected by pipework, you have centralised A/C whereby you have a great big chiller in a plant room and AHUs delivering conditioned air to a space, or you can get an all in unit where you duct the hot air from the space to outside, either by a duct or by some tubing you hang out the window, which in all honesty is a waste of space.
