Ok mate cheers, appreciate the input - Much simpler doing it that was, I was just thinking aesthetically a hotel would try and have things recessed when possible. The spec reads 'the basement ceiling utilises the underside of the concrete floor above' - I was thinking by utilising, it could be 'utilised' to affix a framed ceiling in.
