i am doing this course at the moment and can't find a lot of info on here relating to it. There must be hundreds if not thousands of people on here that have done this course and could maybe share with the rest of us valuable tips etc... when i have completed my project i would be happy to share it with anyone that wants to use ideas.
just a newbie thought.

Unfortunately when I did mine it was part of the C course many many moons ago, but I did take the 2400 when the 16th came out in the 90,s.

So not sure how relevant it will be today for the modern 2391-20 but sure if there are questions posted I would blow off the cobwebs and try to help

What is amazing is that the 2382-10/20 is also a level 3 course ...............think the C&G have somehow got things wrong there,as there is no comparision in the degree of difficulty between them.

And the 2377 PAT is also level 3 for a 30 question multi choice!

Some realignment is needed here, I've said previously that 2391-10 and 20 should be level 4 qualifications.

Or the 2382 and 2377 should be alighned with the 2392 as a level 2 course. Though agree I would definately make the 2391-20 a level 4 as the JIB recoqnise the need for this to get the Technician card.

here is a pdf version of the brian scadden design and verification book if anyone wants it :D

Hi
I'm doing the 2391-20 carters automotive electronics project and I'm stuck can anyone please help?
I've got a trunking with 13 circuits which has a grouping factor of 0.41 that would make the 32A ring a cable size of 25mm WTF is that about, where am I going wrong?????

If you have any cables that are expected not to carry more than 30% of their grouped rating then these can be ignored when calculating the rating factor for the rest of the group.

Might this help?

currently doing the 2391-20 design, verification and erection course. wondering if anyone is currently doing the course or has done it in the past? Any examples of past projects, exam pappers or anything that would help with the course in the slightest would be much appreciated. Cant really find much info in past posts!
Thanks guys
