Hello currently rewiring a flat. They have ask for us to install electric panel heaters.

Now I have not really done many be for. The ones I have done I have always ran then from there own cct on a 16a mcb (3kw)....

They have asked for 2 kw heaters in each room. How many of you would put two 2kw heaters on one cct from a 20A mcb. Load would be 17ish amps .

I don't see a problam with it. Before you all say we need more info. Total run 10m... Ran in massonary, so clipped direct.

Or would you just run each heater of it own radial ??

The worry is the overall load as mentioned, forgetting that for 2 seconds, if it was just 2 heaters only then you would be safe at 2 heaters on a 4mm2 cable on a 20 amp MCB, even allowing for insulation etc it would be more than likely adequate, but now getting back to potential load, as you have mentioned there will be 2 in each room, how many rooms are there?
