Hope you have a speedy recovery mate. Don't take too many painkillers. I was told too many painkillers can cause constipation... ( don't want that with broken ribs lol ) get a good amount of rest

Oh yeah 2 of those will do the job, Ihad some of those once, 500mg standard looking paracetemol tabs with 30mg of codeine in each...so 60mg in total.... I reckon you could stab your self and not feel it...

on a nother drug note I accidentally (!) took a tarmazipan once, as i thought it was the same as diazipan my mate took when his back was bad (mine was too).... Went to sleep..... Woke up eventually...and my arm just kept missing the bedside table as it was a blur and a haze... Never been so spaced out in my life! And that was just one.

boy did I get a rollocking for that (missus is a Anaesthetist)

once did me ankle in and our lass who'd had a slipped disc was on co-codamol and some other drug, not sure what, gave me two co-codamol and one of these other tablets.
They took the pain off but later felt a poo comming as all my muscles relaxed, made it to the bath room floor where i passed out momentarially then came too to realize i hadn't made it to the bog.

I was the opposite when I done my back, the codeine bungs you instantly , slipped disc and constipation do not go together lol.

Morphine based drugs do cause constipation and codeine is the same family.

yeah, our lass had to have lactulose (or whatever its called) to soften the stool up.
dont know why it made me poo me pants, but i won't be taking any more!

yeah well your not the only one, when it happened our lass couldn't stop laughing at me laid on the bathroom floor with me jarmers on covered in poo like a mental patient on a bad day.

Thanks for the get well soon, I hope so. Only thing I'm doing tomorrow is dropping off one of the lads to site, price hunting at the wholesalers and picking the lad back up. Feel a bit useless atm mate.
