i always lived by saving a 3rd, spending a 3rd and the other 3rd for bills etc, i bought myself a 645 on boxing day when i was 23 or 24, with an x5 and a 330 sat on the driveway as santa forgot to visit me again :(

i dont have much expenditure , no direct debits every month apart from rent and council tax, everything else is for me

i get bored of the same woman after a few weeks so im destined to be a bachelor i reckon, low tolerance for stupid arguments
But you must live in a place with cheap rent which is a bonus, try living in London in this day and age when a rental room will set you back £800 pcm

If you get bored of a woman to quickly then you are looking for airheads, meet a nice interesting lass then the relationship will last you just go for the ones that when you turn up with her your mates go "phwoarh you lucky bar steward"

nah, pick a woman of Polish extraction. they are less likely to stray and they feed you well. ( worked for me, anyway ).

See this all the time. My Friends and family are the worst.

Don't own nothing. Everything is on credit or loaned. The problem is they are just borrowing more and more and digging a deeper hole debt.

It's ok though because the new 50" 3d tv makes them feel better and the new iPads for all 4 kids keeps them quiet so they can sit and watch the new TV none stop whilst ordering takeaways which saves them a job of cooking and cleaning.

Seriously though, the lenders need to stop lending the credit out.

Some of the people I know who lend excessively don't even have jobs, yet they have brand new cars/TV's/eat out most nights etc....

Gaz, the trouble is the lenders lending to you at 18% are raking it in and to keep you in perpetual debt to them is an asset, trouble is these retards can't see it.

I admit I fell into the trap but it was separation, divorce having to pay for a mortgage and my own rent that I dug myself in to a hole for a short time but I got out of it when I knuckled down and stopped chasing pretty women and going on benders to Poland and chasing even more women......

At the moment I have zero debt and am happy, no stress at all. And no job but thats for another thread.

One day all these people with all they own on borrowed money will have a wake up call, I can't see interest rates staying this low, if the go to 7% it will screw half the population, if it doesn't then it means we got screwed over in the past.

yeah, its around 3 bedroom house here for that price per month

i think it was the ----- magnet inside the cars making the type of ladies i attract not so great

Jeeez in London thats a double room in a shared house.........

If you earn above the average wage in a less affluent area then you are King Cock, jeeeez I need to move out of London to be an even bigger King Cock then I am already, Elsparko I am after your territory.

i dont know why anyone would choose to live in london, ive visited once in my life and vowed never to return, possibly because i was in the southern end of london, about 4 hours on trains just to go 30 minutes up the road!

there is more people in london than my entire country so that could also be the issue with pricing of housing lol

i have a mate who lives in croydon, his life story makes me glad i never grew up there

No Londoner would want to live in Croydon..........

Its a great place, you really need to be from here to appreciate the quirks. Pulling naive Scottish lasses with the promise of a Vodka and Irn Bru to knowing where the dodgy drinking dens are in Soho and where to get decent food at 4 in the morn, love the place and so much to do and to see.

i never found any irn bru when i was in england, do they serve it in london?

i tend to buy my cars in england as the prices are more competitive , and due to the fact that alot of the cars i buy mainly have motorway miles on them

i dont think he wants to live in croydon but had little choice lol, probably wont ever escape croydon now due to his criminal record

I went to get a kebab late night years ago in Acton ordered my food and some bloke from the Acton estate walked in on edge or high on drugs, I noticed the machete behind his back and willed the kebab owner to hurry up with my order lol

his older brother stole a pizza delivery guys moped, drove it over to a guys house who was due him money, the guys dad answered and told him to go away, he got belted across the face with a hammer, then he went after the original target

i suppose it would never get boring living there

Croydon is a ---- hole and full of scum, where I live was errrrr colourful in the past, miss those days all these rich posh people moving in have taken the area down a few notches, Notting Hill used to be a great place to hang around in but now its full of ginger bearded hipsters instead of Jamaicans and Jewish Polaks.

Funny how people perceive buying a car. I paid £6999 for a 14 plate kia rio 14 months ago. only had 24k miles on it and the remainder of the 7 year warranty, I look at it as a 10 year purchase. its looked after and maintained and will last no problem. Funny thing is the sales guy in the dealership asked when i might upgrade or sell! i told him when it stops working and is no longer cost effective to repair. He seemed shocked I wouldnt want to get a new model in a few years.
He said most people keep them for 3 years from new then return to keep up with the jones but of late the 7 year warranty has meant people keep them longer. I cant fault the kia warranty mind, yes i pay £189 for a service each year but it meant when i needed some brakes changing they did it for parts only as part of the service.
I do think if people lived within their means the economy would grind to a halt rather quick, its all fueled on debt.....
